About/FAQ

James. And a burger.
James. And a burger.

Welcome to James vs. Burger – on a quest to uncover Scotland’s Greatest Burger and Great Burgers further afield. From reviews to recipes, James vs Burger is your one-stop Burger resource

Our goal is simply to find the best burgers out there and then tell you all about them. We’ll also bring you the best burger photography on the web, because after all, who doesn’t love looking at good food photos?

We don’t have many rules here at James vs. Burger. No matter what type of burger it is, we’ll review it. If it’s bad, we’ll tell you and if it’s great, we’ll make sure you know about it.

REMEMBER: The reviews on http://www.jamesvsburger.com reflect the personal opinion of the author only. We don’t expect you to agree with our opinions all the time and you may very well enjoy a burger that we did not. We always encourage our readers to leave comments and their own reviews on the site or over on our Facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by. We hope you enjoy the site. Please see below for a list of our frequently asked questions.

FAQ

I own a bar/cafe/restaurant and believe my burger is the best out there.
We want to hear from you! Contact us and we’ll add it to our list. Please note that offers of free meals & invitations to pre-arranged visits will be strictly ignored.

I had a burger that you just have to try!
We want to hear from you! If you have tried a great burger and think it should be featured on here, contact us!

Will you only be posting burger reviews?
For the most part it’ll be burgers only, but check out our ‘All Burger’d Out’ section for some great non-burger stuff!

What’s the best way to eat a burger?
There’s only one way to eat a burger – pick it up and start eating! We don’t know where eating a burger with a knife and fork came from, but we don’t like it. If a burger is messy, then get messy! It’s part of the experience. Knives and forks have no place near a burger and you won’t see them being used on here.

How many burgers do you eat per week? Isn’t in unhealthy?
Despite writing a blog about the best burgers in Glasgow, we do our best to stick to a limit of one burger each week. Believe it or not, we’re actually very health conscious and balance out the weekly burger with daily trips to the gym and an otherwise healthy, balanced diet. As much as we love burgers, we’d definitely recommend a balanced diet and lots of exercise. Burgers are great, but not every day!
