Submit a Burger

I own a bar/cafe/restaurant and want my burger featured on the website. I believe it’s the best out there. How do I go about it?

  1. Hi,

We saw your site and thought you might like to check out our burger? It’s a char-grilled steak burger from a local farm and, we think, is pretty special (especially with cheese & bacon – also from the farm)! Roll is from Seb & Milli (indie Glasgow bakers, delivered daily) served with home made French Fries, salad and a lovely, slightly spicy, aioli. We’ve also got a pretty tasty lamb burger on the menu…

    Our address is:
    128 Drymen Road
    Bearsden
    Glasgow
    G61 3RB

    (0141) 942 7272

    Cheers!

  2. I’d recommend trying out the cheeseburgers in both The Cambridge in Edinburgh and Stravaigin in Glasgow. Pretty much the best burgers in both cities that I’ve found. Wannaburger in Edinburgh is the sister of The Cambridge and does a pretty decent fast food style burger.
And if you are ever in London both Meat Liquor and Kimchi Cult do great burgers.

    • Thanks Chris! We’ve heard a lot about both Wannaburger and Stravaigin. They are both coming up soon. We’ll hopefully be in both New York and London later this year and plan to sample burgers from quite a few places too!

  3. I’d recommend the burgers from the Cafe Continental in Gourock. Amazing views, great beers on tap and very nice burgers. Come down to Gourock :-)

  4. The burgers served as pub lunch/dinner at the Bothy Bar of MacDonald Hotel in Kinlochleven are well worth a look. I was up earlier in the year doing the West Highland Way and they were definitely the best ones that I’ve ever tasted – deep, meaty burgers – they alone make the trip to Kinlochleven worthwhile! The views along the loch from the bar are an added bonus.

  5. I would like to recommend burgers from Missoula on Renfield Street. Only went there because it is nearby, and from outside doesn’t look like the type of place where the food would be great, but the burger was AMAZING.

  6. You should get to Pivo Pivo to try the lamb and chorizo burger. It’s only £5 and unlike almost all other ‘chorizo’ burgers that I’ve heard of, the actual burger is made with chorizo, rather than a burger with chorizo on top. It might not be the very best burger in Glasgow but it’s close and might well be the ‘best value’ burger you’ll try.

    • Thanks Vinnie! We completely agree that burgers topped with chorizo are pretty annoying when they are marketed as chorizo burgers. We’ll get along and try it out. £5 is pretty great!
