Welcome to James vs. Burger, The Ultimate Burger Journey; on a quest to uncover Scotland’s Greatest Burger and Great Burgers further afield. From reviews to recipes, James vs Burger is your one-stop Burger resource
We don’t believe in burgers cooked in the microwave from your average chain pub on the UK high street. We hate to see good quality bars and restuarants close down or struggle to make money, while low quality chains continue to flourish and offer up lackluster food. We want people to recognise a good burger and want to find the best ones out there and then tell you all about them. We’ll also bring you the best burger photography on the web, because after all, who doesn’t love looking at good food photos?
We don’t have many rules here at James vs. Burger. No matter what type of burger it is, we’ll review it. If it’s bad, we’ll tell you and if it’s great, we’ll make sure you know about it.
Thanks for stopping by. We hope you enjoy the site. Please see below for a list of our frequently asked questions.
FAQ
I own a bar/cafe/restaurant and want my burger featured on the website. I believe it’s the best out there. How do I go about it?
We want to feature as many burgers as possible and if you have one you think is great, we want to hear from you! Our Twitter details can be found below or on our contact page so talk to us on there. We’re also on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/jamesvsburger or you can e-mail us at jamesvsburger@gmail.com. Get in touch and we’ll feature your burger on the site.
I had a burger that you just have to try!
We want to hear from you! If you have tried a great burger and think it should be featured on here, contact us!
Will you only be posting burger reviews?
While our main goal is to find the best burgers in the world and review them, we will also be bringing you some occasional homemade burger blogs, recipes and videos. We have a lot of plans for future expansion, so stay tuned! If you want to see us review other food, please check out James Lees on Foodspotting at www.foodspotting.com/jameslees.
What’s the best way to eat a burger?
There’s only one way to eat a burger – pick it up and start eating! We don’t know where eating a burger with a knife and fork came from, but we don’t like it. If a burger is messy, then get messy! It’s part of the experience. Knives and forks have no place near a burger and you won’t see them being used on here.
